Modernization of the curricula on "Road construction and operation" with the introduction of a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with the latest equipment

Contract Title: PROCUREMENT OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT AND APPLIANCES

Reference No. SHIN-LAB-01/2019

 

1.         The Republic of Armenia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Education Improvement Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Laboratory equipment and appliances for the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia foundation (NUACA) under the Modernization of the curricula on "Road construction and operation" with the introduction of a state-of-the-art laboratory equipped with the latest equipment” grant project.

2.         The National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia foundation (NUACA) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for purchase of Laboratory equipment and appliances:

The goods must be delivered within 150 days after contract signing to the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia foundation (NUACA), Street Teryan 105, Yerevan, 3750009, RA. In order to qualify for the Contract a Bidder must have experience in similar supply and adequate resources, as detailed in the Bidding Document. Bidders may bid for one lot, two lots or both lots.  Bids will be evaluated on a per lot basis. Individual discounts or combined discounts submitted with the bid(s) will be considered in bid evaluation.

The number and identification of lots (contracts) comprising this ICB are:

LOT1-LABORATORY EQUIPMENT FOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION,

LOT2- LABORATORY EQUIPMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION STRUCTURES

 

3.         Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits &Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

5.         A complete set of Bidding documents (only in electronic format) in English may be obtained by interested eligible bidders free of charge from the NUACA website: www.cfep.am as well as www.gnumner.am. All consequent amendments to the Bidding Documents and clarifications (if any) will be posted on the mentioned websites and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia foundation (NUACA) takes no responsibility for missing or incorrect or/and incomplete downloading of those by the prospective bidders.

 

6.         Bids must be delivered to the address below Second floor, room number 2220 Teryan st.105, 3750009, Yerevan, RA on or before 12:00; 18 February 2020 (local time). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who choose to attend at the address below Second floor, room number 2220 Teryan st.105, 0009, Yerevan, RA on 12:00; 18 February 2020 (local time).

7.         All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than the below listed amounts or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency for each lot:

LOT1- US$ 5200,

LOT2- US$ 1250.

A bidder who chooses to submit bid for more than one lot should submit separate bid security for each lot.
