Trainings of teachers of STEM subjects were summarized in Vayots Dzor and Syunik Regions

On Decembe8 2, the training course for the teachers of the general education and high schools of Vayots Dzor and Syunik regions in the use of STEM laboratory equipment in the educational process has started The main goal of the conducted trainings was imparting skills to teachers to effectively apply the opportunities provided by STEM modern laboratories ( equipped with laboratory equipment, materials and goods) in the educational process.Within the frames of the project, training of about 400 teachers (from 41 general education schools, including teachers from all high schools of Syunik and Vayots Dzor regions ) in the use of "Chemistry", "Physics", "Biology", "Geography" and "Digital Literacy and Computer Science " laboratories was carried out.
The entire training process was monitored by the PIU respective program staff. Let us add that teacher training modules have been developed, guidelines for operation, routine maintenance and application of laboratory equipment were created which were also available on the online platform. Instructional videos were also provided during the training, which teachers could access at any time. During the trainings, the content of educational materials and the importance of their use were introduced to participants.
It should be noted that 41 general education schools in Vayots Dzor and Syunik regions have fully established and equipped laboratories in the subjects "Chemistry", "Physics", "Biology", "Geography" and "Digital Literacy and Computer Science .
