In the context of the visits, Armine Khachatryan, the head of the sub-component '' Promoting Readiness of Schoolchildren and Equal Opportunities at the Start of General Education '' and Vram Boyajyan, Engineer-Consultant of the CEP PIU, visited four educational institutions of the RA Ararat region on April 15, on the basis of which in 2017 preschools were established with grant funds within the frameworks of the " Education Improvement " program. The visit started in Marmarashen from Secondary School after Barutyan, where the representatives of the CEP PIU got acquainted with the work done, with the conditions created for the education and upbringing of children, talked to the educators and children. The director presented the process of establishment and activity of the preschool, referred to the upcoming activities. It was mentioned that the preschool is functioning normally, and the children are actively participating in the lessons. The preschool was originally designed for 25 children, but later, due to the larger number of children actually attending, it was licensed for a total of 30 children. The preschool operates in a two-shifts mode with a 6-day working schedule. Representatives of the Center for Education Projects PIU also visited Taperakan, Urtsadzor secondary schools, Vedi №2 primary school, where preschool micro-projects were also implemented.
It should be noted that about 25 children aged 5 are included in the preschools, which are operating in Taperakan and Urtsadzor secondary schools. Preschools work on a 5-day working schedule. The representatives of the CEP PIU summed up the visit in Vedi N2 basic school. In the above-mentioned school the preschool was established for 20 children, but due to the increase in the number of children attending it later, it was licensed for 40 children. The actual number of attending children is 40. The preschool operates in two groups with a 5-day working schedule. The lesson process was quite active with the direct participation of the children. All four preschools within the framework of project were equipped with modern furniture and equipment, as well as educational materials and toys. In all preschools, the work of the tutor is carried out by the tutor trained within the program. The sanitary and hygienic requirements approved by the RA Ministry of Health are observed in the preschools. It should be added that preschools have adapted conditions.
