1. The Republic of Armenia has applied for financing in the amount of EURO 22,600,000 from the World Bank toward the cost of the Additional Financing for the “Education Improvement Project” and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Science Laboratory Equipment, Accessories and Appliances for Schools of Yerevan and Vayots Dzor and Syuniq Regions.
2. The Center for Education Projects Project Implementation Unit State Agency (CEP PIU SA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Science Laboratory Equipment, Accessories and Appliances for Schools of Yerevan, and Vayots Dzor and Syuniq Regions.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016 (revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020, July 2023) (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Center for Education Projects PIU SA (CEP PIU SA), Mr. Grisha Hovhannisyan, info@cfep.am and inspect the bidding document during office hours 10:00 to 17:00 as well as from the CFEP website: www.cfep.am and at the address given below:

5. The bidding document in English /only in electronic format/ may be obtained by interested eligible bidders free of charge from the CFEP website: www.cfep.am as well as upon submission of a written application to the info@cfep.am e-mail address (the bidding document will be delivered to the interested bidders via file transfer system).
Moreover, the Center for Education Projects PIU SA shall not be liable for fault or incomplete downloading from the website, or further in case of missing the Addenda to the Bidding Document.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 8 January, 2025 at 15:00. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 8 January , 2025 at 15:00.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid-Securing Declaration”.
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
