Answers to the Questions received from the prospective Bidders regarding the Bidding Documents for ICB 1.1 Procurement of Science Laboratory Equipment and Materials for Schools of Armenia in Tavush tender

We would like to inform you that we have received questions from the prospective Bidders, see below the questions and answers:
LOT # 1 - Physics Laboratory Equipment
Q1.
Clause 78 – Set of quadratic goods with the same volume and different materials (wooden, metalic, plastic)
But in technical parameters “Includes one each of 10g, 20g, 50g, 100g, 200g, 500g,1000g”

It impossible to make same volume with different materials and volume…

We need to understand which criteria is main.
Suggestion:
1. same volume, different materials, different weight
2. same weight, different materials, different volume,

please let us know what we should offer.

Clause 78 includes Set of quadratic goods made from different materials having different density, so the volume couldn't be the same.
Thus, it is suitable to choose the goods with the same weight, different materials, different volume.The technical characterisation remains the same: 10g, 20g, 50g, 100g, 200g, 500g,1000g.

Q2.
We noticed that in items 4, 5, 6 and 7 specific models of the Vernier brand are requested. Only one manufacturer has products with these features. https://www.vernier.com/
We have analyzed the composition of these items and would like to offer an alternative (similar) solution for digital sensors and software in terms of functionality and purpose.

Items 4, 5, 6 and 7 specific models are close to the Vernier, but there are similar devices or equivalent packages on the market.

Clause 8 – Portable Gas Stove
can it be supplied without any gas? (it is dangerous for transportation)
A3.
A Portable Gas Stove must contain 1 can of gas (Butane Fuel Refill 8 oz), which is not connected to the appliance for safety reasons.

All those items should be supplied in English language?
