The Representatives of the 1.1 SubcomponentVisited Some Educational Institutions in the RA Marzes

On November 8 and 12, the representatives of the 1.1 subcomponent "Promoting School Readiness and Equal Opportunities at the Start of General Education", ArmenMartirosyan and Liana Sharoyanvisited some educational institutions in the RA marzeson the basis of which the preschools, established within the framework of the sub-component have become fully operational since September 01. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the activities of the preschools established within the framework of the micro-projects. The first stop was Gyumri primary school No. 41. The representatives of the 1.1 sub-component were welcomed by the school principal Hayastan Hovhannisyan. The principals emphasized the importance of the micro-projects implemented at the schools. The visitors, accompanied by the preschool directors,toured the newly established preschools, visited the preschools yard, as well. The principals presented the process of establishing the preschool, discussed the challenges they had overcome and what lies ahead. The principalnoted: "The preschool, designed for 25 children, is the brightest and the coziest corner of the school,"
It’s worth mentioning that this preschool is one of the seven preschools established in Gyumriduring 2024-2025 academic year. As a result of the implementation of the projects, the area envisioned for the preschools establishment have been completely renovated and the preschools have been furnished with appropriate modern equipment and furniture, educational materials and toys. Additionally, the teachers involved in the newly established preschools have undergone training. The guests also visited Schools No. 8, No. 9, No.18, No.20 and No. 25 in Gyumri, where newly established preschools have been fully operational since September 1, 2024.
The next stop was Spitak primary school No.2.According to the principal of School No. 2, the residents of the community value the role of the preschool in the area, emphasizing that it is a great joy that their children have the opportunity to receive education in comfortable and beautiful conditions.The results of the works done were impressive andonce again the importance of micro-projects was emphasized. Additionally, it should be mentioned that in the frames of the project during 2024-2025 academic year 20 preschools have been established in the regions of Armenia and in Yerevan.
