Monitoring Visit to Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas

On February 1 a working meeting took place at the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas (YSC). Representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of RA and CEP PIU participated at the meeting. The aim of the meeting was to monitor the current project under the Competitive Innovation Fund (CIF).The participants visited the newly created Innovation Acoustic Laboratory. Establishment of Musical Innovation Laboratory has started from reconstruction works. Particularly, installation of variable acoustic panels in the laboratory area and sound insulation works of the coordinating hall were carried out. The necessary furniture and computer equipment are installed. The process of purchasing the relevant professional computer software has been launched. String instruments and essential musical equipment were also purchased. A number of steps have been taken to modernize the content of the musical education process at Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas. Particularly improvement and modernization of the "Musical Performing Arts" Master's Educational Program has been implemented. Development of a new profession "Creation" (composition) and contemporary subjects’ curriculum is in the process.
