Monitoring Visit to the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport

On January 29, the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of RA and CEP PIU had a working visit to the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, where in the frameworks of “Modernization and improvement of professional education in physical culture and sport” grant project the modernization and revision of professional educational programs, establishment of a modern scientific-research center for physical culture and sport with an interactive auditorium and an online conference and seminar hall aimed at the strengthening of the capacity of the university is being implemented. The participants visited the newly created interactive auditorium, the laboratory and the conference hall and stated that reconstruction of territories for the interactive auditorium, the laboratory and the conference hall had been already finished. The furniture and stationary for the center have been procured as well the hardware and software, which were already installed and in use. The first set of laboratory equipment, four in number, is already supplied, tested and located in the area designated for the research center. The University also carries out development of relevant educational content. Revision of educational programs for the given specializations has been carried out. The University is already considering possible cooperation programs with a number of local and international organizations and educational institutions.
