Three New Preschools in Syunik Region

On November 3, the representatives of the subcomponent ''Increasing the level of readiness of children to school and ensuring equal opportunities for education'' of Center for Education Projects PIU conducted a working visit to RA Syunik region in the context of activities carried out in the framework of ''Education Improvement'' Project. The aim of the working visit was the monitoring of the ongoing works of micro-projects being implemented in the in Goris, Karahunj and Sisian communities of RA Syunik region. After 4 months of signing the grant agreements, the pre-schools have already been functioning since October 2, 2017. The kids from the beneficiary communities warmly welcomed the representatives of the Center for Education Projects PIU. Teachers highlighted the importance of the micro-projects implemented in their schools, stating that the newly established and more comfortable conditions will increase the efficiency and quality of the educational process.
Let us remind that the activities of subcomponent ''Increasing the level of readiness of children to school and ensuring equal opportunities for education'' of ''Education Improvement'' Project is aimed at rehabilitation and improvement of selected educational institutions and infrastructures in different regions of Armenia, which in turn allows to improve the quality of educational services at the pre-school level.
