A Working Visit to High School of Ararat

On November 14, the representative of ''Center for Education Projects'' PIU, the Director of the subcomponent ''Support to the development of the third level of secondary school'' Petros Karamyan was on a working visit in RA Ararat region in the context of activities carried out in the framework of ''Education Improvement'' Project. The aim of the working visit was to get acquainted with ongoing reconstruction activities of Ararat High School of RA Ararat region. Now, the above mentioned high school is among 17 high schools included in reconstruction project implemented in the framework of activities of the subcomponent ''Support to the development of the third level of secondary school''. Let us remind that the implementation of the Project was launched in 2015. A number of problems related to the implementation of the reconstruction of the mentioned high school and certain suggestions on their solution were discussed during the meeting. The representatives of the contractor organization "Baghramyanshin" OJSC were also present at construction site. The participants toured across the area of construction site, discussed a number of issues related to design and construction activities. The representative of Center for Education Projects PIU said that dismantling activities of school building had been completed, and the activities of constructing the roof, installing windows, strengthening and reinforcement activities of building foundations are in progress. Improvement works of the surrounding areas of the school are also being implemented. The participants said that the implementation of ''Education Improvement'' Credit Project contributes to rehabilitation and improvement of infrastructures of the selected schools.
